This association of genealogy and local history aims to:
promote, in all its forms , genealogy and local history study of Luxembourg,
publish the results of this research, including using all current and future techniques of electronics and communication,
promote the websites www.luxroots.org , www.igenealogy.lu , www.luxbooks.lu and other future websites and any activity directly or indirectly related to the corporate purpose of the association,
encourage and facilitate the exchange of information among its members,
participate in activities at national and international levels in order to develop and coordinate genealogy and local history research
represent all of its members in their dealings with public authorities , cultural institutions and similar foreign companies.

The annual membership fee amounts to 20 euros. Associates of the luxroots projects, luxroots.com subscribers as well as the contributors of www.igenealogy.lu are automatically members of the association without additional expense unless they renounce to be a member of the new association.
Thus, luxroots.club asbl is the largest genealogical society of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
